Daniel began his hospitality career at the Boston Harbor Hotel where he worked in management for several years prior to joining the Gruppo. Aspiring to grow in the Boston restaurant scene, Daniel spent an evening at No. 9 Park and instantly fell in love with the culture of the Gruppo.
He realized his passion for food and wine and became committed to expanding his knowledge of both through the education provided at No. 9 Park’s Wine Words, the daily training for servers that is also the backbone of the Gruppo’s culture of education. After rising as one of the lead servers at No. 9 Park, Daniel was promoted to the role of Maitre ‘d at B&G Oysters where he was primarily responsible for welcoming guests and orchestrating memorable dining experiences for them.
Daniel quickly rose through the ranks and became the Assistant Manager of both South End restaurants before being promoted to Assistant General Manager of B&G Oysters in Summer 2014.
After 3 years with the Gruppo, Daniel was promoted to his current position of General Manager of B&G Oysters. He continues to be motivated by the enjoyment of guests, the hospitality of his staff, and relishes the opportunity to customize each guest’s experience day and night!
